You're bound to get compliments and questions about what it is! The heavy bottle's sleek design looks and feels like luxury. What Does Noir Smell Like? The smell of Tom Ford Noir evokes pictures of bright red lipstick imprinted on the lapel of a black dinner jacket. It's elegant and powdery, but the contrasting woodiness of the fragrance adds a darker element to the whole perfume - hence why it's got the name Noir. Top Notes: Bergamot, Verbena, Caraway, Bay Rose, Violet Flower. Heart Notes: Tuscan Iris Resin, Madagascan Black Pepper, Clary Sage, Nutmeg, Bulgarian Rose, Egyptian Geranium. Base Notes: Leather, Indonesian Patchouli Oil, Vetiver Oil. Why It's Escentual: Noir was originally launched as a masculine fragrance. In 2012, Tom Ford was the face; the advert showed the 'duality of a man', particularly the darker side of pleasure and the lighter side of being a gentleman. We love how Tom Ford was able to create this within the structure of this fragrance. The soft and gentle sides of rose and iris beautifully complement the hard textures of leather and resin - it's genius. Years later, the roles have switched, and all genders love to wear and be around this fragrance - trust us! Look out for the detail. You'll see the TF logo imprinted on the top of the cap. Don't miss the T and F detail on the side of the bottle - designed to show two sides to every person. Finally, you'll also see the fine line plisse detail on the lid and bottle, which is also imprinted on the outer box. The Best Way To Use It: For the best performance, spritz Noir Eau de Parfum onto your pulse points - particularly the neck and wrists. Do not rub the fragrance, as this will alter how it develops.
