Unique bottle design inspired by volcanoes.   What Does Fusion d'Issey Extreme Eau de Toilette Smell Like? Nathalie Lorson's fragrance welcomes a hot, spicy facet that sets it apart from the original Fusion. Extreme opens with a wave of freshness as zesty bergamot juxtaposes warming cardamom before the heart balances fresh peppermint with a bright mineral solar accord, the signature of Fusion d'Issey. Finally, soft sandalwood and musky-earthy patchouli reveal themselves in the base. Top notes are Cardamom and Bergamot. Heart notes are Peppermint and a Mineral Solar Accord. Base notes are Sandalwood and Patchouli.   Why it's Escentual: We love it when we see a classic fragrance being reinvented, and Issey Miyake's Extreme edition is sure to go down well with fans of the original Fusion d'Issey scent. This time around, the spicy, woody and aromatic fragrance ramps up the heat to really play on the volcanic theme by mimicking the searing heat of magma. But that doesn't mean that the fragrance doesn't still play with cool tones; Issey Miyake's cleverly balanced, multifaceted fragrance for men still hits you with a wave of freshness, thanks to the likes of fresh green peppermint. But we have to mention the bottle too. Held in smooth, elegant glass, the fragrance instantly recalls its predecessor: the iconic black cap is back with a bang. The sleek and smooth yet visually jagged midnight black lid is sharply faceted to mimic an obsidian stone, a type of naturally-occurring volcanic glass that forms when lava cools rapidly. To round off the design, bright orange letting evokes the heat and colour associated with molten lava, tempting you into Issey Miyake's spicy scent.   The Best Way To Use It: Spritz onto the beck, chest and wrists to get the most out of this Eau de Toilette.   The Sustainable Side: The cardamom in Fusion d'Issey Extrême fragrance is obtained using an upcycling process, which converts useless products or waste materials into new, high quality materials to minimise excess waste.
